We recently closed on a condo in Chicago and had a fantastic experience working with Matt Laricy and his team. At every stage, it felt like they were looking out for our interests and making sure nothing fell through the cracks. Tl;dr: Overall great experience! They made it easy to shop for homes and the buying process was super streamlined. We were first-time homebuyers, looking to purchase a home with the help of Jennifer Harris, one of the Ben Lalez team. She kept us abreast and informed of any new units during the home search and was always very accommodating when we wanted to schedule tours. She also broke down how the whole purchase process works and made it easy to understand, while also being up-front about the sorts of costs we were expecting. There's certainly a lot of extra costs to buying a home, but with Jen we never felt blindsided or surprised when we got the bill for those costs. Once we did find a unit, the Ben Lalez team took care of everything. They put us in contact with an inspector, lender, attorneys, etc. All of the work done by their contacts was prompt and professional, and Jen was super receptive to our inquiries and made sure any concerns we had were being addressed. We went with Jen because we knew her personally, but after this homebuying experience I'd recommend the entire Ben Lalez team to anyone asking for a realtor. Buying a home is a complex undertaking but they made it easy to follow!

He was recommended by a friend who was already working with him. Jesse did a video call with us early on to assess our needs and to establish a timeline for having an offer sheet along with budget and the best time to start looking based on the market. He worked with us to start touring houses when we were ready and helped us see several properties on multiple occasions as often as we wanted based on OUR schedule.
