We were relocating from Florida for a career move and we were looking for a 4 bedroom home in Hoover. A friend of mine told me that I needed to talk with Celena before we started searching. So glad we did. She really took the time to listen to our wants, needs and concerns. There were so many things we hadn't considered and Celena made sure that we were covered at all times. From school zoning, neighborhood information and churches, to HOA's and city ordinances, she kept us in the know. Aside from her knowledge of real estate and the "ins and outs" of contracts, it was the fact that she listens and communicates better than any other realtor that I've had in the past. We brought home $43,000 more by selling our house with Melvin over another realtor. To start, Melvin and his team brought in more buyers by helping us prep the house with an interior decorator and using a professional photographer for the listing pictures, this led to a bidding war on the house. Melvin negotiated multiple bidders and the house sold for $30,000 over asking, add that to the $13,000 we saved in seller's agent fees and Melvin made us about $43,000. Initially we were apprehensive about going with List, it seemed too good to be true and we had other realtors tell us negative things about List. In the end, all those things turned out to be false. Melvin and his team were great: they're experienced, professional, punctual, and just good people. I would recommend Melvin to anyone; give him a chance, you won't regret it!
