We had an amazing experience working with Tara from The Dar Walden Team during our recent home purchase. My family was purchasing a For Sale By Owner home, so while we did not necessarily need to use a realtor, we chose to work with Tara to help us navigate the process, negotiate effectively, and make sure we were making informed decisions. Because we were moving from outside the area, we had very little knowledge of the local market or what to expect. Kyrsten McCloskey is the best! I was an out of state buyer relocating to Anchorage hoping to find the perfect investment opportunity. Being unfamiliar with the Anchorage/ Alaska market, Kyrsten helped educate me so that I felt confident in the right investment. We focused on finding a duplex that would allow for owner occupancy. This also meant finding a property that would allow for this based on existing tenant lease agreements, which can be challenging. It only took one prospective property for her negotiation skills to help us beat out multiple other competitive offers on the right home. Given that she has experience in property management, she understood the challenges I would have in procuring the right team of vendors in the area for any services or repairs I may need as a new Anchorage landlord. She provided me with all of the resources I could possibly need and I am confident that this investment will be a success long term. Amazing experience!! Lindsey went above and beyond all expectations. From the very beginning she was always honest with us and never sugar coated anything. When we bought our home every step of the process wasn't always clear with our former agent but this was not the case with Lindsey when it was time to sell. She always made sure our questions were answered and was even available in the middle of the night; I swear that woman doesn't sleep! I was in the middle of planning a move across the country and never had to worry about my home with Lindsey on my side. She carried all of the stress for me! My husband and I are looking forward to buying a home again but are sad we won't be able to use Lindsey again as we are moving out of state. We've done 4 real estate transactions with Aspire (specifically Justin) and we cannot say enough good things about them. They have made it slick and easy, and we've come out ahead on each transaction! I understand there was some drama with a former agent posting insensitive stuff online. I can vouch that this agent has not worked for Aspire for a very long time and it's unfortunate they did not have the professionalism to remove the affiliation when they parted ways. I can also vouch that this individual's statements are directly contrary to the values and actions of Aspire Realty Group
